Putting a Plan to the Vision

Stalled out Vision

underline

Daniel had no shortage of business ideas. But he would put them aside and hope he’d have an “aha” moment on how to implement them. Daniel wanted to focus on sales and growth but wasn’t sure how to get out of the day-to-day.

“I’d write down my idea, and it would stay on the desk and never go anywhere.”

This is how we Do it

In SYCB, Daniel created a document outlining the entire process: what happens from when someone becomes a lead to the day the team hands the keys over. When things went wrong, the team could look at the document and pinpoint what needed to change.

“We’ve got actual worksheets and agendas for most things.”

“Now we do charge for estimates, which is awesome.”

Noticeable Change

Since starting SYCB, Daniel has gotten compliments on the change at his job sites. Projects are running more smoothly, things feel easier, and the work is higher quality. An added bonus: Clients see the value in paying for estimates.

knowing Whats Next

Previously when he got stuck, Daniel didn’t know what was next. Now, with a written plan, he can avoid procrastination (like driving to job sites and checking off easy tasks). Daniel has the space to make substantial progress toward meaningful business goals.

“It’s given us a lot more time.”
